Cone Beam 3D Imaging
Our Cone Beam 3D Imaging machine offers our patients images quickly. Our dentists are able to diagnose our patients better, catching problems sooner than they would be able to with only traditional imaging. It allows us to view your teeth, roots, airways, and even sinuses in less than ten seconds. We are also able to monitor TMD.
By using Cone Beam 3D imaging, we are able to diagnose and treat our patients quicker so that they don’t have to spend as much time in our office. We can view the images in just a few seconds instead of minutes, so we can start treatment right away!
X-Rays are used to examine the inside of your teeth. We are hoping to be able to catch any problems that we can’t see with the naked eye! Using radiology, we are able to see which teeth are developing cavities. We may also see some teeth or gum areas that may require some extra work.
Laser dentistry is not very common, though there are many benefits to using laser during procedures. Wounds from the surgery heal much faster because there is less damage to the surrounding tissue. Lasers minimize bleeding and post-surgical bacterial infections. Often, anesthesia and sutures are not needed after procedures when a laser is used.
Laser dentistry makes procedures much smoother, more efficient, and less painful for patients. People who are afraid or very anxious at the dentist should find dentists who offer laser dentistry. They will be surprised at how painless it can be to come to the dentist.
BioPak JVA TMJ Treatment
A temporomandibular joint disorder, also known as TMJ or TMD, can make your life miserable. Fortunately, our dentist, Dr. Richard Argant, and our team offer TMJ treatment. But in order to make sure that your treatment is effective, your problem needs to be properly evaluated and diagnosed. Most TMJ exams look at the problem in the office without really taking into consideration the fact that your jaws move quite frequently throughout the day whether speaking or eating, and jaw movement can even happen subconsciously. What a dentist sees in an exam at the office really does not reflect all of the elements and conditions that can contribute to the stress on the cartilage of your jaw, contributing to TMD or TMJ.
